FIT for IT - EBM Telematik AG receive the »ISO/IEC 20000-1« certification
2007-11-28: The Swiss company EBM Telematik AG provides several IT services e.g. hardware/software services, network/infrastructure services, hosting services for websites and applications for SMEs, manufacturing companies and public administration organisations. One year ago, EBM Telematik AG introduced ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) with the intention of becoming a Service Provider rather than a Technical Provider. The ISO 20000 certification that EBM received, should internationally accredit them with this new orientation. The definition of the required processes with ADOit was a fundamental milestone on the certification road map. This initiative resulted in significant improvements concerning process transparency and the usage of their own best practices for delivering services.
On the 26th of April 2007 the EBM Telematik AG was the third Swiss company (90th worldwide) to receive the »ISO/IEC 20000-1« certification.
BPTrends recommends ADOscore as the tool to organize performance monitoring with Balanced Scorecards
2007-10-30: In the context of Enterprise Modeling, BPTrends suggest in their email advisor to use ADOscore as tool to organize a Balanced Scorecard-based monitoring effort. Most companies already use some variation on Balanced Scorecard and have created a hierarchy of scorecards, including Division or Department scorecards and scorecards for specific functional units and managers. To manage process performance and process managers BPTrends suggests to extend the BSC hierarchy to a system that is aligned to both process and functional goals.

With ADOscore it is easy to extend the existing hierarchy to build an aligned performance measurement and governance system on both process and functional level. To find out more, read the BPTrends advisor "Using Balanced Scorecard to Support a Business Process Architecture" and "Enterprise Modeling" and visit the website of ADOscore.

BPMN and BPEL are available for ADONIS
2006-10-15: The Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) is a new industrial standard for process modelling. BPMN is now available for ADONIS and supports all elements and attributes ('Complete Element Set') of the BPMN 1.0 specification. Thus BPMN processes can be created, evaluated, documented and published in the standard ADONIS environment.

A BPEL interface is available for ADONIS (version 3.8. and higher). BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) is a standard to orchestrate business processes and web services. With the implementation of this standard, the ADONIS platform now enables the continuous process from professional modelling - e.g. according to BPMN - and optimisation up to the technical implementation of processes. This seamless integration is also demonstrated through an interface to the Oracle BPEL Process Manager and other business process execution suites.
